The sinkerline is positioned on the beach just west of Groyne 30 (Portman Ravine) between Boscombe and Southbourne.  From there four groyne bays will be replenished, working east to Groyne 32 (500m), and west to Groyne 28 (300m).  Groyne numbers are indicated along the promenade.
