Poole Bay Partnership Studies
-
The
Poole Bay and Harbour Strategy Study, March
2004 defines coastal defences for Poole Bay (from Durlston Head
to Hengistbury Head, including Poole Harbour) and how they should
be managed for the next 50 years. This study developed from
the original (1999) Poole & Christchurch Bays Shoreline Management
Plan (SMP). The strategy study is published at
www.twobays.net.
-
The Poole and Christchurch
Bays Shoreline Management Plan (SMP) covers
the 190km (118 mile)
length of
coast between
Durlston Head in the west and Hurst Spit to the east, and addresses
coastal flood & erosion risks over the next 100 years.
The Poole and Christchurch Bays SMP is published at
www.twobays.net.
